Award-winning trainer with over 30 years of teaching experience, who has been training dogs since 2002. Josef's passion and expertise led him to establish Top Dog in 2017. As and original Gold Graduate Josef has been Studying and applying Nepopo techniques since 2019.

The same is true in dog training. Unnecessary or poorly timed corrections can break down your dog. Your goal should be always to build up your dog and get the behaviors you want. Only when necessary should your dog be given a correction. the dosage must be correct and in a way your dog understands. Negative reinforcement is different we use it as a motivator to help inspire your dog to do. The way I train I make sure positive reinforcement is at minimum double the frequency of any negative reinforcement.
This guarantees your dogs will love training with you and love their new behaviors.
It is unacceptable to make any dog fearful.
This type of positive training also ensures fearful dogs become confident dogs. Aggressive dogs learn not to be triggered and puppies grow up to be well adjusted loving members of the family.

During your dog’s stay They will live as part of my family, not in a scary boarding facility. Your dog will live at my home, sleep in my bedroom and interact with my family and my dog through out the day.
When your dog is returned to you you'll be taught how to maintain your dogs improved behaviors. Also you will know how to keep your dog improving when I am not there.
I will teach you how to use a clicker or verbal marker(your preference) and rewards. You will learn how to utilize play and to build the strong relationship that everyone wants with their dogs . You will also have full access to me online and by phone for the life of your dog!
